Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano has announced the cancellation of activities and classes within Nassau County Parks system today and early closure of the Nassau County Aquatic Center at 4:00 p.m. The Aquatic Center will reopen tomorrow, January 22nd at 12:00 p.m.
Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano today announced that Nassau County’s outdoor ice rinks at Christopher Morley Park and Grant Park will open for the 2013-2014 winter season on Saturday, November 30th. As a part of the opening day celebration there will be free admission to the two-hour skating sessions which will take place from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and from 1:15 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. Skate rentals are not included.
Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announces the return of the popular Garvies Point Day, on Saturday, August 3rd from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Garvies Point Museum and Preserve. There is a special program fee of $5 for adults and children ages 4 and older.
