Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano today announced that New York City Winsupply, a company that provides fire sprinkler products and services to sprinkler system contractors, has opened in Garden City Park. The company’s market area covers New York City’s five boroughs and Long Island.
County Executive Mangano stated, “Nassau County’s economic development team is working hard to create new jobs and opportunities for our residents. Attracting Winsupply, along with other companies such as Hain Celestrial and New York Vanity, is good news for Nassau County as these companies provide new employment opportunities for our residents.”
Willy Schweizer, President of New York City Winsupply, stated, “We’re proud to open our doors in Nassau County. Our personalized approach to customer service backed by more than 40 years of experience by our team sets us apart.”
Through a public-private partnership with Nassau County and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, real estate company AJM Capital obtained title, renovated and restored the property so that it could once again serve as home to a local employer and be placed back on the tax rolls.
Winsupply, located at 131 Herricks Road in Garden City Park, is associated with WinWholesale Inc. – one of the nation’s largest wholesale distributors – with annual revenues in excess of $2 billion that is consistently ranked as one of largest and fastest growing private companies in the nation.
